MATTI KLESSASCHECK QUARTETT
With this project I am trying to present my own voice to the audience. The quartett is playing music I compose specifically for this project.
I am very delighted to play with these three very talented and sensitive musicians and friends, who are all just getting started in the german jazz scene.
There is a certain compassion in the interplay in this band, allowing the music to live and oscillate between free, unbound and powerfully driven moments.

DEDICATION TO A CITY
A farewell from Matti to Stockholm, each piece of music a dear and personal dedication to his other home.
With my stay in Sweden coming to an end, I wanted to say thank you for a year filled with music, growth, friendship, and love, for which I am so very grateful.
My experiences in Stockholm have led me to write the music for this project, each piece a dedication to a different side of the city. I am very happy to summarize my year here with some of my closest companions by my side.
